Woman Who Brutally Assaulted Pro-Life Advocate Launches GoFundMe to Make Money

The pro-abortion woman who brutally assaulted a pro-life advocate is now trying to make money off of her vicious attack.

And she’s using social media to portray herself as the victim and make it appear as if the pro-life advocate she assaulted provoked the attack for social media fame.

As LifeNews reported, Savannah Craven, a campaigner with the pro-life group Live Action, was punched in the face by an enraged pro-abortion passerby during an interview near a Planned Parenthood abortion center in Manhattan.

Craven was asking pedestrians, “Do you know what Planned Parenthood does?” when she was brutally attacked.

In an interview over the weekend with the New York Post, Brianna Rivers apologized she stopped short of taking full responsibility – claiming Craven goaded her into the assault. But while the pair argued about abortion, nothing prompted such a vicious and brutal attack by Rivers.

Now, Rivers has started a GoFundMe account to make money from the attacks or, as she claims, pay for a defense attorney and bail. So far, Rivers has raised almost $7,000 to fund her legal defense and bail — assuming she is eventually charged with assault and needs to use the funds.

On the account, Rivers attacks Craven verbally and falsely claims Craven tried to get Rivers to attack her.

Rivers has also posted a new social media video in which she repeats those false claims that Craven provoked her for fame.

“Her body language changed to condescending and confrontational… She rage baited me… There’s even a point in the interview where I throw up the peace sign as a silent goodbye (about 20 seconds before the assault), and Savannah, like the temptress of trouble that she is, continued to flip my words on this very slippery subject. The light that Savannah is shining me in is so false. I am so polite and friendly. I’m not volatile… I wouldn’t have done this interview if I had known… that Savannah’s entire rhetoric is to rage bait, infiltrate, and manipulate people that she invites on her platform to ‘interview,’ and then forces their ideologies down their throats… Savannah has controlled this narrative for too long… I’m fearful for my life… Savannah has used this clip as an opportunity to finally have her social platforms go viral, and monetize off of my back… This is all over a provoked attack.”

Craven reported the incident to police and Rivers has not been arrested. Meanwhile, Craven is dealing witht he physical and mental health aspects of the assault, with the Post saying she is “now nursing a black eye, two stitches below her eyebrow, significant pain in her nasal area and a heavy psychological burden.”

“Mentally, I’m kind of struggling. I am having a lot of stress — just flashbacks about what happened to me,” Craven Antao explained.

“Every time I go on my phone and I open any social media, I see the video of myself being assaulted. And it’s like I go back to the moment. It’s terrifying.”

Live Action, a prominent pro-life organization, condemned the attack, calling it a “direct assault on free expression.” The group’s founder, Lila Rose, posted on X:

Savannah Craven, a pro-life advocate working with Live Action, was just assaulted by a pro-abortion supporter in NYC while interviewing passerbys, asking them “Do you know what Planned Parenthood does?” An abortion supporter began talking with Savannah but became enraged when she found out Savannah was pro-life and began punching her in the face. Please pray for Savannah who is at the hospital now.

The incident, which took place around 3 p.m. EDT, quickly gained traction online, with posts on X from conservative commentators like Raheem Kassam of The National Pulse decrying the violence.

Supporters of Craven rallied under hashtags like #JusticeForSavannah, while others criticized the city’s handling of public confrontations.

NYPD spokesperson Sgt. Maria Gonzalez said last week that the department is investigating but declined to provide further details, citing the ongoing nature of the case.

Craven, who has worked with Live Action for three years, vowed to continue her outreach. “This won’t stop me,” she posted. “The truth matters too much.”
